Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with domain expertise in Data Science, third party API integration, and web. This is an opportunity to join our energetic and team-focused emerging technologies team! You will be developing innovative software solutions from initial prototype to final production.

Key Requirements

* Design and implement APIs for data models for the Web Applications
* Develop software and the artifacts associated with software development. Data flow/Process flow diagrams, API documentation etc.
* Design and develop data polling / data pushing architectures
* Test code with a full suite of system and integration tests.
* Work closely with the operational Project Management team to maintain successful development sprints and stay on schedule.

Skills And Qualifications

* Experience with data-driven distributed systems in the realm of data science, machine learning in the cloud
* Fluency in dev basics like git and the associated Pull Request work flows.
* Core output of this role will be APIs and related packages to advance our research team as well as leveraging those resulting applications to create working applications for our business units.
* Advanced knowledge of data science related packages and supporting coding languages (Python, Java, C++, C, Golang, etc.)
* Solid understanding of database basics a must. Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases including No SQL databases. Familiarly with Graph databases will be a plus. A thorough understanding of API design and implementation. Fluency in developing common Domain Language between Product, Data Science and Engineering to share knowledge, define project requirements, and more effectively bring forth the truth of what we are all working with.
* Advanced knowledge of back end cloud (AWS/Azure) and data technologies with experience in handling large amounts of data.

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
