We are looking for exceptional senior engineers with a proven record of delivering consistently in high growth and high scale environment.

As a Senior Engineer of Conviva Big Data platform team, you are expected to be the hands-on individual contributor and technical expert in the Big Data technologies area.

What you get to do:

* Develop data feeds to Conviva's customers, owing SLA, data quality and expertise
* Write Spark and Hadoop applications to serve the reporting needs of internal users
* Serve engineering challenges in product innovation, scaling, and resiliency

What you bring to the role

* BS/MS/Ph.D in in CS or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
* Proficiency in Java or Scala
* 4+ years of experience as a software engineer developing core product code
* Strong desire to work in a rapidly growing company and make it a success

Preferred Qualifications

* Industry experience writing Big Data application using systems like Hadoop, Spark, Flink
* Experience building framework for deployment, monitoring and management for big data pipelines
* Experience with Deployment tools and technology like Docker/Kubernetes/Mesos/Borg, etc.
* Experience of scaling applications out of datacenter and cloud technology like AWS Autoscale, etc.
