Primary Responsibilities:

* Perform all phases of softwareengineering including requirements analysis, application design, codedevelopment and testing
* Design and implement product featuresin collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
* Design reusable components, frameworksand libraries
* Work very closely with architecturegroups and drive solutions
* Participate in an Agile / Scrummethodology to deliver high-quality software releases on a regular basis
* Design and develop innovativesolutions to meet the needs of the business
* Review code and provide feedbackrelative to best practices and improving performance
* Troubleshoot production support issuespost-deployment and come up with solutions as required
* Mentor and guide other softwareengineers within the team

RequiredQualifications:

* Relevant Bachelor's degree orequivalent work experience in a related field
* 5 years of developmentexperience
* 5 years of relational databaseexperience

PreferredQualifications:

* Experience in the healthcare industry
* Experience with Big Data technologiessuch as Spark
* Experience with functional programminglanguages
* Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
* Scala experience
* Python experience
* Agile/Scrum methodology experience
* Experience with continuous integration/continuousdelivery
* Understanding of SOA design principles
