Job Description

As a Senior Engineer, Software Development on the Alexa Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Platform team, you will help Alexa better-understand humans with each passing day.

Creating an efficient and scalable system that enables us to do so while serving both experimental and production use-cases entails solving many wonderfully fun and challenging problems. As a member of our leadership team, you'll help define the architectural vision for a world-class, and massively scaled ML platform. You will provide technical guidance and leadership on software design, architecture, patterns and practices. You will be the lead engineer developing this platform and also mentor software engineers - working with them to identify great projects and features that will help them grow in their careers.

Ideal candidate will have a number of years of experience designing, delivering and operating large scale data processing production systems through multiple development cycles, deep knowledge of building high-quality, scalable Machine Learning and Big Data systems, and experience of User Experience design and development. You've made a bunch of mistakes in the past and have learned a lot from them that you apply regularly.You have a strong sense of ownership, high quality bar and are passionate about building cutting edge technology solutions for problems not solved before.
