The Business Transformation Team is looking for a creative and motivated Senior Software Engineer with excellent C# .NET development skills. The candidate should have a strong focus on the presentation layer and an eagerness to usher in the next big thing in human-to-machine interfaces, using conversational AI.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated capabilities in user interface development, the applicant must have or quickly develop an understanding of a wide array of technologies in use at GEICO such as: common JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, React and etcetera), Cosmos DB, MuleESB & API Gateway, Azure Service Bus, NoSQL databases, IBM's Watson Assistant, and more. The candidate must be comfortable working with analysts, developers, and architects across multiple teams to collaboratively to come up with creative solutions to complex problems.

Candidate Qualifications:

* 5+ Years Designing and Developing .NET Applications Using Visual Studio, C#, Web API, WCF, SQL, ADO.NET JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks
* 5+ Years SQL Server Database Design and Development Experience
* A Solid Understanding of OO, SOA and Messaging Design Patterns
* Experience Working on Agile Teams
* Experience Unit Testing JavaScript with Jasmine
* Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
* Desired Additional Qualifications
* Experience Working in Azure's Cloud Environment (PaaS & IaaS)
* Experience Working with Microsoft's Cosmos DB
* Experience with JSON Schemas, RAML and/or Swagger
* Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engines
* Experience Developing Conversational User Interfaces
* An Understanding of Sonar and Code Quality Metrics
