Come, shape the future of serverless computing. AWS Lambda is one of the fastest growing AWS services and we're looking for a Senior Engineering Leader to drive a broad charter responsible for low latency routing on the data plane of Lambda.

Over the past decade, application development has rapidly changed from utilizing physical servers in data centers to leveraging cloud api to manage large fleets of hosts. Serverless represents the next big evolution in computing, changing how companies big and small think about computing in the cloud. AWS Lambda provides customers a "Serverless" way to create their applications - a world where developers build scalable, fault-tolerant production systems without thinking about infrastructure. Many of the hard problems of managing large scale systems and distributed systems development are abstracted away by Lambda, so that our customers can focus on solving business problems.

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Leader, who can wear multiple hats at the same time - hire and grow the team, build new services to address business opportunities and is passionate about working closely with customers. The ideal candidate is a great people manager and leader - able to hire and develop leaders in his or her teams, excels at delivering results working closely with product managers in a fast paced environment, able to think big and drive innovation in an ambiguous space having a huge impact on the future of Lambda and Serverless computing.
