A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing products, strong technical ability, project management skills, solid communication skills and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and have a creative flair for achieving the impossible.

Key Responsibilities:

* Be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes and transform them into exciting end consumer features.
* Architect new end-to-end features that bring innovation to Alexa.
* Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
* Deep-dive into client or server systems to optimize for performance, maintainability, scalability, extensibility as needed.
* Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automations and processes for software development.
* Mentor team members to promote engineering excellence.
