Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will vary significantly month over month, some of which will include the following day-to-day activities:

* Contribute to the design and development of product features
* Take the initiative in a team leader role where needed
* Help build out ScaleFactor's internal development infrastructure
* Coordinate across teams to identify and analyze product requirements

Current Tech Stack is: Rails, Ember.js, and Postgres

Qualifications:

* 5 or more years of relevant experience
* Web application experience is a must
* Experience with the Ruby on Rails framework
* React.js, Ember.js, Angular 2.0, or other frontend JS framework experience
* Designing software and/or the capability to build maintainable, future-focused software
* Solving large application problems such as performance and scalability
* Writing and/or bootstrapping extensible applications
* Experience with SQL, and familiarity with databases such as Postgres

Bonus points:

* BS in computer science, engineering, or related field is preferred
* Architecting, building, and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services
* Experience with Ember.js is a plus
* Deployment infrastructure management in the form on Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
