We are seeking a Senior SEO Strategist who is organized, motivated, creative, friendly, and outgoing individual who can successfully thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, consultative business environment. Ideally this individual would have experience in search engine optimization (in-house or for an agency) and content writing, with a desire to broaden their skillset by working on a variety of SEO campaigns for large, Fortune 500 clients. We're looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude. In this role, you will learn more about SEO, websites, usability, and marketing. The team member in this role will report to the Associate Director, SEO.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage client relationships along with client projects
* Project management to ensure all deliverables are done in a timely manner
* Edit and write keyword rich pages
* Write SEO and user friendly meta tags, alt tags, and more
* Join and lead SEO topic discussions for client meetings
* Provide project updates in internal team meetings
* Deep SEO research on client Websites with SEO tools and techniques
* Metrics analysis to review data, create reports, and track results
* Create SEO presentations for internal team syncs and client meetings
* Extensive SEO research to build 5 - 60+ page technical SEO audits for one or more client sites
* Monthly reporting by collecting data, building a report, and sharing results
* Analyze client websites and provide well-defined strategies to improve site conversion and ROI
* Research on keywords, competitor sites, links, and other topics
* Build links as well as offsite content
* Create, plan, and execute strategic online customer acquisition plans for clients to maximize traffic and conversions
* Participate in business development efforts through research, estimation, strategy development, and presentations
* Research and analyze industry changes and developments in search engine optimization
* Use online tools analyze performance data and provide recommendations
* Other SEO related projects as needed

Skills and Experience

* A documented, proven track record for driving results through SEO
* 2-3 years of experience in SEO and content writing
* SEO tool skills with Ahrefs, BrightEdge, SEMRush, Moz, Conductor, and others
* Skilled using CMS platforms such as Wordpress and Drupal
* Experience in both SEO as well as other marketing channels
* Have worked closely with clients and internal team members
* SEO knowledge around technical topics
* Advanced understanding how websites work
* Attention to detail and deadlines
* Independent decision-making ability and a desire to implement projects
* Proactive and interested in helping with additional projects
