Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Install, implement, maintain and support the firm's IT security systems. Establish secure networks, and perform day-to-day administration activities for IT security systems. Monitor access and data security while identifying and addressing actual and potential threats. Plan, coordinate and execute IT security projects. Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Essential Responsibilities

* Install, implement, maintain and support the firm's IT security systems. Perform upgrades and configure security systems to optimize performance and availability. Ensure detailed security design of networks complies with firm standards and procedures.
* Regularly monitor data security and network access. Develop tools and reports to identify potential and actual data security issues. Follow up to ensure appropriate resolution and minimize potential for future incidents.
* Plan, coordinate and execute network and IT security projects. Communicate project status and issues that may impede project success to management.
* Monitor availability and performance of networks. Resolve security technical issues.
* Collaborate with IT infrastructure staff to plan and test disaster recovery and execution activities.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the network administration and IT security monitoring to ensure maintenance activities and reporting are effective, efficient and integrated.
* Develop security documentation, including architecture plans, test cases, production implementation plans, and maintenance reports. Monitor security logs for potential problems.
* Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
* Monitor industry trends that may impact network administration and security.
* Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
* Additional responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related subject matter required
* 5 - 8 years of experience in network administration and IT security required, preferably in a financial services environment
* CCNP or equivalent
* Intermediate level Cisco IOS and Azure Virtual Network
* Advanced level AzureAD and Security Center, O365 and IaaS security
* Strong project management and prioritization skills
* Ability to collaborate across multiple functions
* Attention to detail and quality
* Detailed knowledge of IT security design, administration protocols, and best practices
* Working understanding of IT risk and risk management
* Familiarity with Varonis, Symantec DLP, Microsoft PKI, Azure MFA, Symantec WSS, LogRhythm, ExtraHop (or equivalent AI security analytics technology).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent problem resolution skills
