Anaplan is looking to hire a SENIOR SECURITY ARCHITECT based in SAN FRANCISCO. We are looking for a self-motivated leader to add to our growing San Francisco Security Team. This is an opportunity for you to work for a high-growth organization disrupting how companies do business.

The Security Architect will be responsible for upholding the highest security standards for the next generation Anaplan Platform. With big technical problems to solve - you'll have the chance to push boundaries and create something new.

What you'll be doing:

Partnering with other Architects across the company to guide security engineering decisions.

Manage security and/or privacy engineering components of our systems.

Build large-scale systems to protect users and customer cloud data.

You will help build our core infrastructure, monitor user activity, provide identity and access management services, and prevent malware intrusion.

Be the Evangelist of Application Security throughout the organization.

Hire, retain, and promote top talent.

More about you:

10 years of experience as an Engineering Architect with a focus on security engineering.

A background in designing, developing and implementing all security aspects of high-scale cloud architecture including Authentication, Authorization, Identity, Auditing, and Applied Cryptography.

Prior build and deployment experience with encryption technology, including applicable hardware and software for at-rest and transport encryption, key management, in conjunction with data management and computation, symmetric/ asymmetric key, certificates and TLS.

Research and design, application security practices such as threat modeling, input validation, and authorization and access control models.

Experience designing and implementing software systems in Java, C, C++ and/or Python, including experience designing security solutions for operating systems and distributed systems.

Bonus:

Building security solutions on top of container orchestration platforms, Kubernetes.

OAuth2, SAML2 and Identity Management

Work in compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO-27001
