As a Senior ScrumMaster you will support Premera's purpose by guiding and coaching Agile teams to deliver solutions that bring significant value to the organization. You will help teams apply Agile/Scrum principles, practices, and values to solve challenges and become high-performing teams. As a servant leader you will facilitate the team through the delivery lifecycle and relentlessly advocate for continuous improvement in solution quality as well as the team's Agile and technical practices.

What you'll do

* Guide and coach the team and organization to follow Agile/Scrum principles, values and practices to iteratively deliver value to the organization, demonstrating continual improvement in team effectiveness and productivity
* Foster team health, creating a trusting, safe and collaborative environment; guiding and coaching the team to become self-organized and empowered
* Help the team and organization assess their Agile maturity (including Agile practices, culture and technical practices) and Coach the team and organization to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
* Radiate Information related to team health and the value being delivered
* Identify gaps and develop new practices and measures to demonstrate a complete and accurate picture while coaching the organization to adopt and use the practices and measures appropriately
* Support and coach the Product Manager and Product Owner on Agile/Scrum practices, including backlog creation, refinement and prioritization, epic and feature decomposition, writing stories, and acceptance criteria
* Identify, manage and escalate delivery team and organization issues and risks to prevent or remove impediments and distractions that interfere with the team or organization's ability to deliver on their goals
* Facilitate discussion, decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution coaching the team and organization to improve methods and practices

What you'll bring

* Bachelor's degree or 4 years' related work experience
* 8 years' experience in technology leadership, including 5 years' experience in a ScrumMaster role
* Experience leading teams to implement various Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework)
* Experience leading teams to implement Agile Engineering practices ( Test Driven Development Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pairing, Automated Testing)
* Expert knowledge of Agile principles, values, and practices (Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework)
* Proven history of fostering a trusting, safe and collaborative environment across multiple teams
* Ability to lead a team to become self-organized and empowered
* Ability to provide meaningful and impactful communication, both written and oral, to delivery team, stakeholders and executive leadership
* Expert knowledge of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
