The Liberty Mutual GRM US Technology Information Management (IM) team is looking for a Senior Scrum Master responsible for facilitating the scrum process, specifically coordinating across multiple scrum teams. This will include coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and addressing challenges to team delivery on sprint goals. The person in this role will also partner with leadership to determine the best scaling approach for the organization The Senior Scrum Master works closely with the Sr. Product Owner, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to support release planning; foster team decision making; encourage cross-training and team support.

The Information Management department is charged with developing data and analytics solutions for our business partners - including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Science/Advanced Analytics and Cloud technologies. You will be part of the Information Management group within Global Retail Markets (GRM) US Technology. This role will report to the IM Portfolio Manager.

This is a fast-paced environment providing rapid delivery for our business partners. In this role, you would:

* Implement consistent process and tools for program management


* Aggregate scrum team objectives that are easily consumable to business partners and all team members to ensure visibility and transparency


* Remove impediments through provision of appropriate resources, guidance and escalation
* Collaborate with senior product owner and senior architect to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
* Facilitate interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture and UX
* Ensure adherence to agile practice through program increment planning, retrospectives, etc… for scrum teams
* Ensure successful delivery of large impact and/or cross-functional product initiatives
* Define and create performance metrics across the portfolio for the organization through dashboards, reports etc.
* Apply effective scaling/SAFe methodologies
* Coach, mentor and provide guidance to scrum masters
* Provide input on Scrum Master performance

This role might be for you if you have:

* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline and at least five years of IT and project/program management, agile/scrum expertise preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation. Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff. In-depth knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives.
* Depth of knowledge of scrum/agile tools - Jira, Confluence etc
* Project Management and resourcing tools expertise, such as Clarity, Lucidchart.
* In-depth experience with scaling or knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) with three plus years' experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach.
* Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus building skills.
