Overview

The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters has a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst position available for the ideal candidate to join our Community Relations and Development Team.

Responsibilities

The Senior Salesforce Business Analyst provides critical support for The Salvation Army's utilization of NGO Connect, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Classy:

* Assists in overseeing the development and implementation of vision, policies, plans, procedures, and automated processes for fundraising systems and operations.
* Assists in maintaining the NGO Connect platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the Classy donation platform.
* Provides support for integrated and aligned fundraising tools, subscriptions and tools, and services.
* Ensures software and business processes run smoothly ensuring efficient flow of data, smooth integration between systems and the confidentiality and security of constituent information.
* Produces or assist with the production of financial, analytical and demographic queries including development and creation of customized reports and dashboards.
* Initiates a formal data request process for users and vendors that ensures information requests are tracked and completed in a timely manner.
* Provides guidance and assistance to coordinate database de-duping, address updates, data cleanup, and data batch processing projects.
* Works with division development management and end-users to create and manage workflow rules, data validation, and triggers
* Creates and documents application requirements and user stories by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including program staff, programmers, and/or outside consultants as needed.
* Develops user stories in the Cloud Management System (CMC).
* Trains new users and regularly conduct refresher training with existing users on how to maximize use of NGO Connect.
* Logs and tracks identified system problems through resolution adding solutions to the Salesforce solution database.
* Creates and maintains documentation for processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as applications are developed

Qualifications

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or Five years of progressively responsible experience managing data for relational and/or multi-dimensional databases.
* Salesforce Admin 201 certification required.

Experience:

* Minimum of five years of ongoing experience working with non-profit information systems or CRM software along with fundraising database management systems, database reporting, and office productivity packages. NGO Connect experience preferred.
* Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SFDC APIs, Apex controllers, data loaders, Apex web services and Visualforce.
* Experience implementing complex ETL and data migration practices
* Knowledge of File Transfer Protocol (FTP) technologies, Extract Transform Load (ETL) technologies and data migration and implementation.
