Position Description

This Senior SalesForce Application Developer role will support the Product Development efforts for the Zayo's Layer 2/3 product lines and will be charged with growing the contribution of the product groups to the broader business. We are looking for ambitious, independent software development professionals looking to "disrupt" the telecommunications industry by delivering unique, technology-focused solutions. Within the Layer 2/3 group, we're thinking 3, 4 and 5x, not 1.2x. Responsibilities

* Manage the Layer 2/3 project deployments


* Develop sustainable Salesforce.com solutions using everything from native Salesforce functionality to customization through APEX, Visualforce and SOQL


* Determine specifications, implement design, and maintain the product to keep pace with evolution of the product


* Working cross-functionally, in an agile environment, to ensure that product enhancements integrate fully across the entire user experience spectrum from quote to cash


* Lead developing functional design, application and integration development best practices, testing, and Force.com platform approach


* Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements or user stories and coding standards


* Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required


* Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction


* Identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or development within the platform that will support multiple business units



Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of Salesforce Platform experience


* Extensive knowledge in Lightning Framework, Visualforce development, APEX development and code deployment/release management


* Experience with multiple SalesForce project deployments including release and environment management


* Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment, preferably with Jira


* Solid understanding of Process Builders, Workflows, and Flows


* Knowledge of SalesForce integration patterns


* Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations


* Strong ability to effectively mentor junior developers


* Salesforce App Builder and Platform Developer, I certifications; Salesforce Platform Developer II certification a plus
