Sr. SFDC administrator/Developer

At Zymergen IT, we are constantly improving our business operations and development. Currently, we are looking for a senior SFDC administrator and developer who is responsible for leading Salesforce and the Salesforce.com platform, troubleshooting and working with the teams in Business development, Automation, Finance, and others to ensure the application meets their needs through configuration and/or customization of the Salesforce platform.

Job Description and Specific Responsibilities

Immediate responsibilities include:

* Requirements gathering, technical designing, coding, debugging, performance analysis, packaging and deployment of custom solutions on the Force.com platform
* Daily administration, technical and functional support for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud including but not limited to handling multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules
* Working closely with business stakeholders to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce.com and how it can be best applied to meet the needs of a rapidly growing user community
* Customizing reporting and dashboards for various teams;
* Owning the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, building test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating UAT
* Documenting and maintaining processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users
* Keeping up-to-date on new Salesforce and 3rd party application products, features and functionality to recommend and apply improvements to internal business issues
* Working with our Mulesoft integration engineer closely to make sure that all of our integrations are scalable and consistent

Qualifications/Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
* 8+ years intense Salesforce experience in Salesforce.com administration, analysis, and development
* Expertise in Apex, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, SOAP or REST based web services, and SOQL
* Thorough understanding of custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflow rules, process flows, and knowledge of which situations are appropriate for each
* Expert Salesforce report/dashboard builder
* Experience customizing Salesforce to integrate with enterprise systems such as Netsuite or Workday.
* Working experience of Salesforce lightning
* Working knowledge of 3rd party integrations and AppExchange packages.
* Experience with managing ServiceNow and JIRA a big plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to perform in a dynamic, fast-changing work environment

Preferred Competencies

* Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II and/or Admin Certified
* Experience in implementing and supporting ERP applications such as Netsuite, SAP, and Oracle
* Certified SuiteCloud Developer
