Our exciting, culture-focused company is looking for a talented Senior Quality Engineer! You will be responsible for performing manual and automation testing using open source tools as well as enhancing/maintaining existing automation solution to support functional, integration and regression testing activities across all product platforms. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop automated test solutions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of product software. You will design tests, drive test implementation, execute tests, analyze pass rate and requirement coverage to deliver quality product on time.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and Perform functional, regression, systems and integration test cycles.
* Apply testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
* Enhance and utilize existing test automation framework using Selenium, HTTPClient and MSTest.
* Design and implement modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy testing requirements.
* Develop custom function libraries and utilities to support reuse and maintainability of automated testing solutions.
* Build and maintain manual and automated test cases.
* Understand requirements and can quickly translate them to automated test cases.
* Track and analyze test results and work closely with the developers to isolate and reproduce defects.
* Verify reported issues, identifying their underlying cause and seeing them through to resolution, liaising with development and product management teams where appropriate.
* Identify, analyze, and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies in software.
* Train and mentor junior team members of the team with test automation solution.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
* Thorough understanding of all phases of SDLC required and processes used in quality assurance of software programs.
* 6+ years of hands-on, demonstrable test automation experience in both web and service level.
* Strong experience in test automation framework like Selenium, Page Object Model or robot.
* Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages: C# or Java, C# is preferred (Design Patterns, OOP etc.).
* Strong experience working with GitHub and continuous integration tools (Bamboo or Jenkins).
* Strong and demonstrable experience creating and designing tests using REST and SOAP API.
* Experience working with JSON, Oracle and Postgres.
* Working proficiency in development and test automation toolsets (e.g. Visual Studio, MSTest, HTTPClient, Selenium, JMeter, IDE: Eclipse, Visual Studio, PGAdmin).
* Deep understanding and experience with Agile SCRUM methodologies and operations.
* Experience with JIRA and Atlassian tool is preferred.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to work well in a fast paced environment under deadlines in a changing environment.
* Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
* Experience working with onshore/nearshore team(s).
* Ability to network and establish cross-functional relationships to work effectively with cross-functional teams to acquire knowledge, and drive system solutions.
