The Operations Applications team drives the innovation and development of Operations products that provide automation and scale to reconciliation, transaction management, and billing. You will contribute to and lead projects building out our new features as well as rebuilding, upgrading, and enhancing our current products.

YOU WILL

* Work in a small team developing and executing test plans for our web-based wealth management software, which is developed in Java and JavaScript using modern web application frameworks in a J2EE environment
* Analyze project documentation to determine test requirements
* Create detailed test cases in Jira focused on functional and regression requirements
* Test the product through all phases of Agile SDLC (Functional testing, regression/integration testing, end-to-end testing) using a combination of black-box, gray-box and automated testing methods
* Participate in and drive test execution of application/function test cases using 'Zephyr for Jira' according to test plan and schedule
* Understand test automation frameworks, test strategies and quality best practices for complex web-based applications and services - especially backend web services
* Collaborate on defect resolutions with developers / partners and identify retest requirements
* Follow Scrum-based Agile software development methodology
* Use and learn not just cutting-edge technologies, but also learn about the investment management industry
* Help to define the best technique for testing a change; end-to-end test, web service test, unit test, or other
* Work with development teams to implement QA best practices and participate in QA automation code reviews
* Determine release readiness and improve the release process

YOU HAVE

* A BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
* 6 years of QA Analyst experience - manual and automated - preferably in a financial services background
* Strong experience defining clear and concise test cases
* Strong experience with testing Web Services and automation using common frameworks such as Postman, Jenkins, and/or Selenium
* Experience with Java/ Javascript/ Bash scripting
* Experience with any major Test Management Tool - preferably Jira
* Knowledge of SQL, Angular
