Job Description

Fivesky is looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior Python Developer to join a fast-paced, dynamic, security team. The ideal candidate must have experience automating tools in a Linux environment.

As the Senior Python Developer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Automate self-service tools within Perimeter security.
* Define frameworks.
* Contribute to the firm's business continuity planning and practices.
* Examine and correct escalated issues.
* Communicate with other teams, provide solutions, processes, feedback, and consultancy when necessary.

Qualifications:

* 7+ years of experience.
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
* Background in financial services preferred.

Skills and Experience:

* Strong development experience.
* Strong Python development skills.
* Perl development skills highly desirable.
* Understanding of automation frameworks like Ansible and Puppet.
* Understanding of Unix/Linux operating system concepts.
* Background with DevOps/Agile.
