Job Summary:

EvergreenHealth IT Project Managers plan and manage complex IT Healthcare planning and implementation projects, as part of the EvergreenHealth IT Project Management team. PM's coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional team members, between projects, and between the IT group and the rest of the EvergreenHealth community and vendors. Our project managers are proactive, action oriented, and anticipate and help solve problems or roadblocks while helping to bring change to the organization.

Primary Duties:

1. Creates and maintains project plans and estimates. Ensures these are used to control the successful delivery of projects against client expectations and agreed service levels.

2. Develops project scope statement with input from project sponsors.

3. Defines project constraints and deliverables with customer and vendor.

4. Ensures projects are delivered on time and to budget.

5. Manages projects against a resource and budget plan.

6. Helps to evaluate potential risks from proposal stage through to project completion, creating and implementing plans to manage risks within agreed boundaries.

7. Identifies and resources appropriate team members and proactively lead them to successful project completion, operating in accordance with company standards and ensuring best practice by the team.

8. Drives business process improvement in the implementation process.

9. Manages project leads in a supervisory capacity as required.

10. Manages project changes and issue resolution.

11. Coordinates the activities of cross-functional teams, including meeting management.

12. Reviews progress against plans and resolves deviations in conjunction with manager and project leads, and provides regular status updates.

13. Anticipates and helps solve management/resource/schedule problems, creatively manage risk.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:

2 years in software implementation projects

4 years of project management experience

DESIRED for the position:

4 year college degree

PMP or equivalent experience & training

Health Care knowledge and experience
