ECG, Inc. (Eden Consulting Group) has been providing program management, systems engineering, and IT consulting service to the federal government since 1996. Our talented team of professionals average over 20 years of experience each. We have helped our customers build and launch satellites into space and construct some of the nation's most intricate scheduling systems.

We are currently recruiting for Project Manager to support an IT Program Management Office for a large government agency located in Washington, DC. Position projected to start in Q3, 2019.

Duties:

* Oversee all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects on behalf of the IT PMO.
* Perform outreach and education to the IT Directorate and user areas on IT PMO policies and procedures.
* Develop and provide general project management training for the IT Directorate staff, and other offices, identifying the level and complexity of training required by instance and program area.
* Conducts project meetings and tracks and analyzes projects.
* Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
* Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
* Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Requirements:

* 10+ years of experience with large-scale IT project management and planning, demonstrating a full understanding of project management theory and practices.
* 5 years of IT PMO experience developing enterprise-wide PMO practices.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification required.
* Demonstrated leadership and expertise in business process improvement, change management, risk management, quality management, building partnerships between IT and program areas, and creating project management competency in the workforce.
* Working knowledge of eSDLC standards, agile and waterfall development methodologies.
* Experience with Microsoft Project or other automated project management planning and tracking tools is a plus.
* U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance required.
