We provide tools to drive great app experiences including push messaging, mobile analytics, predictive analytics, and individualized in-app experiences.
The Senior Project Manager position offers a great opportunity to work with a highly talented, innovative team in order to create clean and efficient solutions and integrations for some of the largest brands in the marketing technology space. This role is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more customers, and ensure initiatives are accomplished according to evolving goals, objectives, and strategic plans. This highly visible position involves continuous communication and collaboration with Executive leadership, customers, and key internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span multiple Localytics customers to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
Review late-stage deals in sales cycle in order to prepare conceptual launch planning and packaging including stakeholder interviews and resource allocation
Facilitate key customer hand-offs between internal departments from point of sale to onboarding to post-onboarding success
Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
Manage project scope and changes
Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
Act as an internal quality control check for the project and participate in resolutions
Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract
Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services
Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle
Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders and sponsors
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects, working with business stakeholders in a matrix environment
3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
Excellent experience in SDLC and Mobile App Development Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
Proven track record project managing Enterprise level projects with a multitude of stakeholders and disparate teams
Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, Wrike and/or Gainsight
Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management and gaining buy-in from audiences
Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment
Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
