Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager that is results-oriented, self-motivated and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for providing support to software development, QA, operations, network engineering teams involved in developing our market data applications and API's. The ideal candidate must be able to work closely and professionally with all teams to assess requirements and coordinate resources across a multi-division organization.

Responsibilities

* Works with software engineering, product lines, quality assurance, and network engineering teams to gather and document requirements for new Market Data projects
* Using technical knowledge of software architecture, API's, and financial market data, properly assess problems and requirements and work with others to seek solutions
* Follow up on all issues by providing timely response back to team members and management
* Monitor internal processes and status related to scheduling, development, testing, and migration. These include meetings, project plans and task tracking administration
* Act as Scrum master for development/QA/Product team
* Provide regular updates to management and stake holders
* Some travel may be required

Knowledge and Experience

* Bachelor's degree and/or certification in Project Management skills (PMI/PMP)
* 4+ years' experience in software related product/project management
* Scrum master experience and/or certification preferred
* Familiarity with the financial industry, TREP, Market Data feeds and API's and exposure to programming languages (C/C++, Java, .NET)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent organization and follow up
* The ability to be self-motivating, flexible and work in a fast-paced, changing environment
