Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Scrum Master in our (Pleasanton) office located in (Pleasanton, California).

The Project Manager - Scrum Master role is intended to manage and adapt continuously to project goals. This highly collaborative role will need to work closely with all departments, including account, creative and technology teams, in order to deliver quality solutions to our customers.


* Understand complexities of a large program and provide guidance for the development teams.
* Interact with product managers and other organizational units such as QA, operations, and external IT partners.
* Negotiate scope, schedule, and funding with external IT and business partners.
* Establish common goals across multiple teams, and define useful metrics and reporting to track team performance.
* Manage milestones across multiple teams.
* Lead teams of engineers through the completion of all phases of the project.
* Foster an environment that adapts quickly to creative change and focuses on Agile development principles.
* Maintain creative, production, and technical goals set forth by our teams and clients.
* Manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated to the product and account leads.
* Capture and record meeting notes and ensure action items are completed promptly.
* Ensure solutions to technical problems through discussion with technical teams to resolve problems.
* Partner with development team members to understand opportunities and limitations of solutions being implemented.
* Effectively balance the needs of the client, as well as the needs of the agency and internal teams.
* Manage all deliverables with any required external vendors.
* Provide production and technical knowledge, in addition to innovation insight, in order to arrive at the best-possible execution decisions.


* 10+ years of consulting industry experience, with strong relationship management experience.
* Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects.
* Hands on with project documentation. Well-versed in industry best-practices and current technologies.
* Experience with Global Delivery Model is preferred.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
* Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
* Flexibility to travel.
* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
* Technical knowledge of various systems (technology).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in digital marketing and media.
* Understanding of project management, and the web and mobile technologies.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience leading projects within a technical environment.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience leading projects in an Agile development environment

Preferred skills:

* PMP Certification
* Scrum/Agile Methodology
