Job Description

The Senior Developer role will lead the development of enhancements and integration solutions for our custom .NET web and desktop Supply Chain Application suite. They will work on complex tasks, projects or issues that involve a high degree of business impact risk. They will also coach and mentor associate and professional team members, as well as work closely with peers and business partners to provide exceptional software solutions.

The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following duties:

* Design, develop and modify custom .NET Web and Windows desktop applications
* Implement solutions to consume and publish to our Enterprise Service Bus
* Partner with the Business Analysts, business stakeholders, and IT integration teams, in order to identify issues, design solutions
* Analyze business requirements and user stories, specifications, and the most efficient and effective design approach
* Write and Interface with Web Services
* Integrate and support 3rd party solutions
* Ability to Debug and performance tune .Net solutions
* Write and Implement Unit Tests based on acceptance criteria with TDD in mind
* Write code with scalability, maintainability, performance and integration with other components and systems in mind
* Ongoing education and learning of new programming techniques and technology
* Mentor Associate and Professional Developers

Must Have:

* Minimum 5 years of experience developing Windows and Web-based applications using C#/VB.net and ASP .NET (3.5, 4.0, 4.5)
* Minimum 3 years of experience with WCF or other Web Services/Technologies (WSDL, SOAP, etc.)
* 4 yrs experience with MS SQL Server 2008 /2012 (Queries, Stored Procs)
* 4 yrs experience using Visual Studio Online and/or TFS
* Great interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in agile team environment
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
* Strong Debugging and Problem solving skills
* 4 yrs working knowledge of Entity framework and MVC

Preference given to those with the following:

* Tibco ESB/BW
* Retail Supply Chain experience
