What will you be doing:

Senior Program Manager will play a leadership role with high visibility and opportunity to deliver high value to FIS and our clients. Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned programs consisting of inter-dependent and related projects to successfully deliver on time, within budget and with approved requirements. Assignments typically involve extensive interactions with FIS BPaaS outsourcing partners (Operations and Service), product development, sales, client relationship teams, and/or other functional teams. The individual will lead projects/programs from end-to-end; empowered to make project decisions, identifies, manages and coordinates dependencies, including cross-projects, identifies/manages majority of issues/risks; escalates risks, reports metrics for integrated project view, enforces use of standardized tools and FIS BPMO processes. This position requires strong communication skills, effective risk and issues management, self-confidence, uncompromising integrity, and the ability to build relationships at all levels. Work on location at client sites may be required based on assignment.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and an out -of-the-box thinker. He or she will demonstrate high levels of initiative and integrity, and bring together a strong project management foundation with strong people management and leadership skills.

The product suite involved with strategic engagements include Trust Accounting Platforms (Global Plus, AddVantage, TrustDesk), Unity, Global Data Store, SWIFT, and Messaging which can be enhanced directly as part of capitalize work or internal funded.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Program Manager role reports to the VP of Program Management Office for Trust and is responsible:

* Manages a program of multiple inter-dependent projects following the Business Project Management Methodology Office (BPMO).


* Oversees all aspects of assigned programs throughout program lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. Drives problem resolution and risk mitigation for escalated issues, problems and risks as needed.


* Ensures necessary allocation of resources throughout the program. This includes developing detailed project plans, establishing milestones and defining the resources required.


* Evaluates the scope and complexity of projects and programs, and identifies the necessary resources to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Coordinates needs with Director of Implementation and Delivery


* Leads or oversees status meetings, tracks and maintains detailed issues and risks lists, and prepares appropriate project meeting minutes and status reports. Meets regularly with other related areas to ensure that integration issues are identified and resolved.


* Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes. Analyzes decisions and actions for their support of the larger area's strategic direction. Works with senior management to resolve more complex problems.


* Working with Account Management, create an annual PS plan once budget numbers are provided and assist in forecasting of resources and timelines. Keep plan updated throughout the year.


* Demonstrates superior collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions; resolve conflicts; and create lasting, productive partnerships with clients


* Assists PMO with Methodology deployment and Process reengineering and evaluation efforts


* Interfaces with all levels of business and technical management staff and project teams to facilitate problem resolution and the resolution of competing priorities.



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

The ideal candidate will meet all or a majority of the following educational and professional experience requirements:

Experience in Financial Services, preferable Wealth Management and the implementation of large scale system

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS from a nationally recognized institution.

10+ years' experience in executing medium to large scaled technology programs comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables. At least 2 recent projects should have involved teams of 5 or more resources

Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility and sound business judgment.

Must be able to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and written.

Background in business management, management processes and customers' needs.

Demonstrated skills and experience in team building and mentoring.

Strong relationship-building skills, with both internal departments and external customers

Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills

Good understanding of development processes (agile and other latest methodologies), quality and testing best practices.

Project Cost Estimation and Project Pricing

PMP or PMI Certification

Proficiency in the MS-Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS-Project.

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION

Career level professional role. Moderate skills with high level of proficiency. Works on moderately complex assignments that require broad project management and technical skills. Generally manages medium to large projects, i.e., approximately 3,000 to 10,000 project hours with a team of 25 to 50 team members, an internal cost of $300,000 to $1,000,000, and a project duration of 4 to 12 months of medium risk and complexity. Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on complex projects or issues. Typically requires five or more years work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industry or a related technical field, e.g., application development, technology integration, business analysis, client technology consulting).
