WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

We are looking for a UX Designer to be a key member of our Product Management team at Code42. This person is ready to take on a new challenge and bring our ideas and goals to life!

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

* Designing software interfaces that are efficient, intuitive, and compelling for the target personas
* Working closely and iteratively with the product management and engineering teams through various stages of design and development
* Collaborating with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, QA, and Documentation to define and implement product requirements, interaction models, and end-to-end experiences that reflect your intuition and experience concerning how user interfaces impact product performance
* Creating and delivering superior, original designs for web, desktop or mobile, from concept through execution, in a consistent, timely way
* Iterating and adapting ideas based on testing, customer feedback, and direction from Product Managers and Product Owners
* Using best practices to assess the success of users achieving key objectives and to drive quality of experiences, including accessibility needs
* Producing usable, detailed, high quality visual design that reflects the Code42 brand identity

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

* 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer or Interaction Designer
* Experience designing products related to data analytics, data visualization, search, and/or data security
* Experience designing enterprise SaaS, or enterprise security products aimed at IT or security persona
* Experience working with users, understanding their needs and translating them into compelling designs
* Experience creating both low and high fidelity prototypes
* Knowledge of, and experience with, user interface and user experience design patterns in desktop software, websites and mobile
* Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at various levels of the organization
* Ability to work independently and self-manage time and project plans
* A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables
* Understanding of common web front-end frameworks
* Understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JS

PREFERRED:

* Experience with Axure, Invision, and Sketch/Photoshop/Illustrator
* Experience working in an Agile development process
* Experience designing products for security practitioners
