Position Summary
DocuSign is seeking a Product Designer to drive the product design for a lean agile team focused on the next generation of DocuSign enterprise and platform features.
The ideal candidate is a curious, open-minded and ego-free professional who thrives on partnering with product managers and developers to solve complex problems.
This role will be focused on collaborating with multiple teams on design thinking and iterative design for enterprise platform ideas that will shape the future of DocuSign.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Product Design.
Responsibilities
Partner with product management, engineering, user research and other teams across locations to define business and customer problems and rapidly generate solutions with the team.
Produce deliverables at every stage of the design process, such as storyboards, conceptual models, wireframes, and prototypes to illustrate your ideas.
Champion the user's experience, pushing yourself and your teammates to explore big ideas while critically prioritizing solving real world customer needs.
Self-driven; able to own projects from start to finish
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of designing user experiences, with a portfolio showcasing multiple shipped products
Bachelor's degree or above in a related field (or comparable work experience)
Experience with design and prototyping tools like Sketch, Abstract, InVision and Principle
Experience rapidly creating personas, lean UX canvasses, journey maps, storyboards and other deliverables to create a shared focus on the user experience across the team.
Samples of your work (add website and/or upload work samples to our applicant system when applying, if not on resume)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on Enterprise or B2B products
Strong Responsive Design and Information Architecture skills
Experience in front-end web development - HTML/CSS/JS (You will not be asked to write code in this position but we consider this experience extremely valuable)
A deep thinker and natural communicator who can clearly articulate design decisions
Able to navigate and thrive in an agile small team environment
