We provide administrative, programmatic, systems engineering, research analysis, and scientific support services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office.
We have an immediate opening for a Senior CWMD Strategy, Policy and Plan Development Analyst to support DHS, CWMD.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Support the DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office Strategy Plans and Policy (SPP) Team as a senior development analyst in support of DHS and interagency CWMD initiatives.
* Prepare high quality, timely analyses that identify, explain, interpret and assesses CWMD issues.
* Prepare briefings for leadership; support strategy, policy, plan and report preparation,
* Participate in interagency working groups and coordinate with CWMD Office Directorates, DHS components, and interagency partners.
* Occasional Travel may be required (less than 5% of the time)
* Work will be performed on-site
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Top Secret Security Clearance (with SCI eligibility)
* B.S. degree required in scientific or engineering discipline; M.S. desired
* Requires 18 of years of relevant work experience
* Work will be performed on-site
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Desired background in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) preparedness, prevention, or response. Nuclear forensic experience is also desired.
* DHS, DOD or DOE experience is a plus
* DOE Q clearance is a plus
