Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Purpose

Working as an integral part of a project team, the Senior Oracle ERP Consultant will provide solid functional and business skills in the implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries and clients. The person we are looking for is a self-starter, capable of managing individual work packages from initial scope through design, build, test and go-live, as well as co-ordinating offshore delivery as a local single point of contact with the customer.

Responsibilities

* Advise and guide customers on implementation and integration of Oracle ERP Cloud
* Operate independently or as part of a team to provide quality work products in a consulting engagement
* Deliver complete Oracle Cloud project lifecycle within specified areas of expertise
* Design, configure, validate, and document Oracle Cloud solutions
* Prepare and execute business process and solution workshops with different customer stakeholders
* Articulate solution details to both technical and business audiences
* Apply Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices
* Operate independently or as part of a team to provide quality work products in a consulting engagement
* Act as team lead providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to develop skills of team members
* Participate in business development activities
* Effectively interact with different organizations within Oracle

Essential Skills and Experience

* Education level/qualifications: university degree in relevant field
* At least 8 years of professional experience in IT
* At least 3 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Service and/or e-Business Suite across at least 3 full complete project lifecycles
* A proven track record of end-to-end delivery of Oracle ERP within the specified areas of expertise


* Ability to prepare and present business process information in form of workshops


* Ability to independently design, configure, validate, and document solutions


* Track record in taking on challenging stretch roles outside the applicant's main domain areas


* Strong analytical skills


* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management


* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and as a member of a team


* High level of customer focus
* High sense of responsibility
