Shipt is a membership-based marketplace that helps people get the things they need. Our friendly shoppers handpick fresh groceries and household essentials and deliver them to members in as soon as one hour.

We are currently looking for Senior Mobile Software Engineers to join our Shopper team! What You'll Gain

You will work alongside a team of talented individuals to build cross-platform mobile applications that help Shipt shoppers continue to deliver best-in-class service to Shipt members.

Requirements

* 5+ years experience (with high emphasis on mobile app development, including hybrid mobile apps)
* Know when and how to write unit tests, following unit testing best practices
* Able to transform hi-fidelity designs into accurate, working features
* Value the support of a QA team validating your code's functionality
* Understanding of REST principles
* Able to communicate complex ideas and concepts concisely
* Empathetic mentality and enjoy learning from and mentoring others

Nice-to-have experience

* React Native or React (where we are going)
* AngularJS and Ionic Framework (where we are coming from)
* Open source software and dependency management
* SOA, Microservices, and/or distributed architectures
* Development of an ecommerce application
