Position Summary
Design, Develop & Prototype tools and web applications supporting mobile technology team at Bank of America. Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, release tools/applications (mobile native, web and client/server apps) for analytics, aggregation and automation. The tools/applications should complement the work done by mobile development teams to improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks and attempt to reduce overhead. Keep up-to-date on evolving technologies and be ready take on challenges that require learning new technologies to implement the solutions. Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools. Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
Required skills/ experience
* Software design and development experience in full stack of technologies like Java, Angular/React, NodeJS, HTML, CSS/BootStrap, Oracle, MySql, etc.
* Experience developing mobile apps in Objective C/Swift/Java/Kotlin.Experience working with technology teams playing different roles and supporting development teams through productivity improvement tools, automation, etc..
* Demonstrated interest in technology, resolving technology-related issues and performing analytical analysis.
* Experience working on wide range of web/server/mobile technologies (Fullstack) as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience.
* Effective collaborator with both non-technical and technical team members.
* Motivated self-starter with a high attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution and readiness to support teams across the Enterprise.
* Experience working in an Agile environment highly preferred.
Enterprise Role Description
Provide leadership and deep technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for specific business environments. Focus on setting technical direction on groups of applications and similar technologies as well as taking responsibility for technically robust solutions encompassing all business, architecture, and technology constraints. May be responsible for coordinating teams to accomplish development in a matrixed organization. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience
