Overview

Mimecast is looking for an energetic and team-oriented Senior Manager of Human Capital Management Systems to collaborate with business and HR leaders to help grow an exciting business with a unique culture and to install our first version of Workday!

The Senior Manager, HCM will report to the Director of Global Total Rewards & HR Technology and will be located at our North America Headquarters in Lexington, MA. This role will be responsible for the overall management, strategic roadmap design, communication, compliance and administration of the Workday HCM. The successful candidate is one that thrives in a collaborative team environment, strong project management skills and is passionate about leading change. As this is the first installation of Workday, we are also looking for an innovative and creative thinker who is well versed in best practices in HCM people processes. This role will supervise other HR professionals directly and indirectly. Some travel will be required as needed basis to our UK site.

Responsibilities

As our Senior Manager, HCM, you will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of the new Workday HR systems platform. You will lead HR technology across the globe that will shape HR and business strategy. The primaty duties of the Senior Manager, HCM are as follows:

* Develop the strategic roadmap for all global HR Systems initiatives and pursue continuous improvement related to business process, integration, and automation. Planful in implementing systems and driving streamlining and enhancements.
* Position and enable systems to support and align our HR and business strategy.
* Partner with HCM Vendors, Mimecast Applications, and Mimecast Security teams to maintain and enhance HR System capabilities (e.g., Global Security and Penetration Testing)
* Serve as the go-to technical expert for all things HR System related and provide leadership related to HR Systems implementation.
* Drive adoption, optimization and transformation utilizing the HCM system to maximize system capabilities and ensure global best practices controls/compliance (e.g., GDPR, EEO-1, VETS, Affirmative Action, etc.).
* Maintain a strong technical ability to support data integrations with core and third-party systems.
* Ensure accuracy and global data integrity in within HR related systems, incl. interface effectiveness.
* May perform analysis and data mining leading to business insights and support HR teams in understanding our human capital profile.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree ( Human Resources Information Systems , Business or related field )
* 7+ years of HR and/or HR Systems experience preferably in a global, matrixed company
* Systems savvy and experienced with HRIS/HCM platform implementation and maintenance.
* Workday implementation experience strongly preferred. Systems integration experience (e.g., Dell Boomi), configuring core HR functionality (e.g., LMS, ATS), and highly proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Great written and verbal communication skills and a very polished customer service oriented demeanor
* Ability to work independently, initiate and identify solutions. Strong analytical skills, sound judgment and proven problem-solving skills
* Diligent project management and ability to deliver initiatives to completion. Ability to influence and implement HR/business initiatives
* Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
* Effectively handle prioritizing work and meeting deadlines. Capability to multi-task to manage multiple projects while maintain a close attention to detail
* Requires maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional organizations such as World at Work and SHRM
* Experience in the technology industry is desirable
