Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

The Role:

Lead a team to create FPGA solutions for Project Kuiper's digital solutions for broadband communications via Low Earth Orbit satellites and Amazon gateways. This is a unique opportunity to define a groundbreaking wireless solution with few legacy constraints. The team works with customer requirements and wireless systems teams to define modem, high-speed interfaces, embedded processors, and DSP solutions in latest generation FPGA technologies.

In this role you will:

* Lead a team to implement wireless system architecture in silicon from system specification to RTL to system level validation
* Lead a team to bring up systems combining FPGA, firmware, and RF implementations
* Lead and help define and test alternative designs through quick prototyping on FPGA systems
* Lead and drive trade-off analysis to benefit customer experience and optimization of resources (costs, power, spectrum)
