Your role at Sephora:

As a Senior Manager, Engineering, Finance Systems you will be responsible for plan, design and development of Finance systems to include SAP and other Financial Supporting systems. Reporting to the Director of IT Finance, you will be responsible for software solution to business requirements, systems design and development with in-house staff and/or partners. You will work pro-actively with the business to understand their strategic direction and how to support the execution of strategies most effectively. In addition, you will:

* Manage a small team and serve as a Functional/Technical Lead on Sephora Financial Systems and also contribute to hands-on design and development.
* Engage with business teams within area of responsibility to communicate and scope the functional IT plan aligned with overall IT plan.
* Participate in discovery, architecture and solution design while following the Sephora Agile Development Methodology.
* Develop/enhance systems based on requirements defined, either by modification to third-party software or new development, using prescribed SDLC tools and techniques for solutions to business problems.
* Work with Finance Business Analysts and Architects to convert business solutions into technical designs
* Understanding advanced, integrated business processes; identifying and recognizing global integration consequences in Finance area.
* Lead Production support and perform troubleshooting primarily code issues related SAP and other Financial systems.
* Participate in project management activities, including estimating, developing, and monitoring project plans for medium sized projects, often spanning multiple application areas
* Successfully handling multiple projects, completing them on time, on budget and exceeding customer expectations.
* Coordinate and/or deliver end-user training as appropriate
* Keep up with current trends in technology as they relate to the Finance operation business areas
* Prepare regular status reporting and updates to management

We're excited about you if you have:

* 10+ years of experience in SAP and Financial systems with increasing Functional and Technical responsibilities.
* 5+ Years of experience leading teams.
* Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the functionality of the SAP FICO modules, with emphasis on Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Procure to Pay, Bank Integrations, Accounts Receivables, Sales Audit, Investment Management, Fixed Assets, Consolidations, Cost Center Accounting, and Reporting.
* Configuration and ABAP Development Hands on experience required. Knowledge of SAP Best Practices required.
* Knowledge and Exposure needed to various financial systems such as Anaplan, BPC, Blackline, Finario, Concur and Amex PCard etc.
* Experience working with vendors, negotiating work and ensuring quality
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to sell concepts and ideas to a wide range of audience; effectively communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization and the project team.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Energetic and self-motivated, willingness to learn and openness to change are important.
* Proven experience on full life cycle implementations of SAP ECC. Consulting experience is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or related experience.
* Experience in Retail Environment is a big plus.
