Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle's Adaptive Intelligence Applications team is looking for

exceptional talent to develop our next generation of Applications

running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Detailed Description:

The Adaptive Intelligence Applications team is developing Oracle's

next generation of applications, driving functionality from Big Data

sources, using machine learning to extract value and meaning from the

data.

We require an engineer who can build end to end systems from the front

end UX and back end code. This position focuses on delivering

outstanding user experience in Oracle's applications using a variety

of cutting-edge techniques. The successful candidate is exposed to

the entire software lifecycle, including requirement evaluation,

functional and technical (architectural) designs, implementation,

test, CI/CD and ongoing improvment.

The Role entails interacting with engineering teams across the globe,

product management and user-experience groups. Thus, written and

Ideal candidates have or exceed the following criteria:

* BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
* 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
* Relational or NoSQL database experience
* 3 Years Experience with Java or 1 year with Scala.
* 3 Years Experience with JavaScript, HTML 5 UI development.
* Experience with common Javascript libraries such as JQuery and knockout.js
* Experience with search-focused technologies, such as Elastic Search or SOLR
* Agile development experience
* Experience with Oracle's application development framework (ADF) is desired
