We are seeking Senior LIMS Developer professional to ensure productivity in our Automated Clinical Laboratory operations. The Senior LIMS Developer will develop, and support configuration and customization of a commercially available LIMS that facilitates the efficient processing of work and information in our clinical laboratories. This position requires the ability to work as either a member of a team or as the sole developer for a project. This position will be based in RTP, NC where we have our state of the art next generation sequencing laboratories servicing various product lines.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, Configure and support LIMS Software.
* Follow FMI's Agile framework for SDLC.
* Interact with internal customers to develop business requirements or user stories.
* Develop IQ, OQ, PQ documentation and execute testing.
* Conform to coding conventions.
* Conform to all change control and product release policies.
* Participate in the continuous process improvement of Lab IT solutions.
* Key contributor to defining and executing the Lab IT roadmap for Laboratory Operations.
* Act as Level SME for support issues.

Qualifications:

* Experience developing configuring LIMS software and related tools. Experience with Nautilus LIMS is preferred.
* Ability to maintain own workflow and meet deadlines.
* Experience developing formal technical specifications.
* Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced team environment.
* Ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiatives.
* Experience supporting .NET, C# JavaScript and Python based applications is desired.
* Experience with LIMS API development is desired.
* Experience with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL).
* Working knowledge of MS windows operating systems.
* Ability to work as an individual as well as in a team environment.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Detail oriented and well organized.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree, preferably in an Engineering or IT related field.
* 8+ years' experience in an IT support role in life sciences preferred.
* 4-6 experience in LIMS configuration or maintenance (Nautilus LIMS will be preferred).
* Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript and Python programming languages will be huge plus.
* LIMS API development experience is preferred.
