Job Description

We're looking for a designer to own the level design process on a new multiplayer project. This person has Senior level experience creating levels for 1st or 3rd person games. You'll work closely with the game director and a small team of designers and engineers to prototype and test these layouts daily. The ideal candidate can speak intelligently about designing levels with multiple modes in mind, combat encounters, and map design for co-op and PVP games.

Responsibilities

* Document and implement greybox levels
* Work with engineering to test daily prototypes
* Help develop game content, including enemy designs and scripted events
* Give constructive feedback regarding game features, and be able to accept feedback in kind
* Identify and champion game enhancements and improvements to other key stakeholders

Requirements

* Experienced with FPS or 3rd person action titles
* Experience creating and maintaining design documentation
* Able to work creatively in a demanding technical environment
* Strong ability to analyze and adapt designs based on feedback and data
* Worked as a developer on at least one AAA game
* 5+ years of experience in the game industry
