We're looking for someone with Jira configuration and administration experience who is also interested in working with us to integrate Jira with our existing tools and processes.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
* Design and develop tools that leverage Jira APIs to connect to existing tools and support MathWorks development processes * Configure Jira projects to support new workflows and integrations. * Troubleshoot and debug across Jira and integrated systems * Evaluate, recommend, and implement Jira plug-ins as they fit into integration workflows * Ensure all code is testable, create unit tests, and work with quality engineers to develop integration tests
Additional Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and co-design with other internal tooling teams to design scalable solutions. * Interface with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and feedback. * Ensure efficient delivery of high-quality tooling that adhere to MathWorks product development standards.
Minimum Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience) is required. * Demonstrated experience in/with JIRA * Programming experience with REST web services * Experience with JavaScript * Experience with Java * Demonstrated experience in/with relational database * Exposure to MySQL
Additional Qualifications
* Experience in configuring Jira workflows, permission schemes, customized screens, etc. * Flexible; able to deal with uncertainty and change. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
