Your Impact

As a Senior Javascript Application Engineer, you would help forward the Apollo team's mission is to build and support the next generation of tools and frameworks Jellyvision uses to author, develop, present, and drive responsive HTML5 experiences called "Interactive Conversations."On a day-to-day basis, you'll be working on our products and on the tools that help the rest of the company build those products. You'll add features, fix bugs (what, bugs?! never!), test the stuff you built, and be involved in designing the next features and tools coming down the line.

Responsibilities

* Produce strong front end code (and test their code as a part of writing it)


* Collaborate with a diverse team using Scrum or Kanban


* Communicate their ideas to (and work with) Jellyvision's non-engineers.


* Own major features


* Encourage software development best practices


* Help guide your team.



Experience & Skills

* Experience developing software with Git (or some other kind of source control)


* An understanding of: Javascript ES5/ES6, Webpack and Docker containers, React and Redux, and Ruby.


* Familiarity with HTML and CSS,


* Tests their code as a part of writing it
