Job Overview & Responsibilities

Mythics is seeking a Senior Java Developer to develop and maintain a custom enterprise service application written in JAVA. The ideal candidate will have designed, developed and implemented JAVA based solutions in an enterprise environment.

The Java Developer must have good communication skills and excellent critical thinking skills, as it is expected that, in addition to general O&M of the application, new features will be requested and developed.

Qualifications

* At least 8 years of experience and a B.S. degree. Bachelor of Science (BS) can be substituted with an additional 4 years of related experience
* US citizenship required
* Active CBP, DHS, or DOD clearance

5+ years of experience in each of the following:

* JAVA Enterprise Edition
* Java Server Faces (JSF), specifically PrimeFaces
* Java Persistence API (JPA) and Hibernate specifically
* Spring Framework
* Maven
* SQL
* Oracle 11.2.x
* Weblogic Server 12.x
* Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
* Knowledge of the Atlassian Stack a plus
* Ability to communicate with both customers and users
