Job Description

Job Description

We are looking for a sharp mind that thrives in a multi-project, dynamic and fun environment. You should be a hardworking and expert business systems analyst with a proven background in implementing leading finance SaaS applications. As a Senior IT Financial Business Systems Analyst within the IT Business Applications team, you will have a variety of responsibilities, including taking strategic projects from start to finish, while "keeping the lights on" by configuring existing applications and automations.

What you get to do every single day:

* Partner closely with the finance organization to turn short and long term business needs into high quality, scalable, secure systems to further Zendesk's dynamic growth
* Lead system enhancement projects from design through implementation and support: expect to get your hands into the details - this role will be working directly with users to capture requirements, implement, test and deploy new features on a regular basis
* Analyze business problems and provide functional and/or technical guidance for implementing an optimal solution, including fit/gap analysis
* Quickly learn new technologies, think out-of-the-box to find creative solutions, and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
* Work in our best-of-breed finance applications infrastructure, including NetSuite, Blackline, Coupa, RevPro, Zuora, Expensify and other market leading SaaS application providers

What you bring to the role:

* Proven track record of having implemented, enhanced and supported enterprise class financial systems - which includes planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, data migrations, system testing, cutover plan, and production support
* Strong knowledge of overall finance business processes, with in-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes preferred
* Solid grasp of IT processes, including SDLC and change management
* Demonstrable ability to work autonomously, run and lead small to medium projects or parts of larger programs requiring program management involvement
* High level of intellectual curiosity to understand current state, identify issues and provide solutions, while advising on potential positive and negative implications of decisions
* At least four years NetSuite experience (or equivalent SaaS ERP application)
* Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and working collaboratively with a scrum team preferred
* Experience with SOX compliance processes a plus
* BS/BA or equivalent work experience
