Purpose of Position-

Taking direction from and working with the Sr. Manager of IT and the IT Architect, the Sr. IT Engineer will support maintain and upgrade infrastructure technologies which can include networking, storage, desktop and servers operating systems. The Sr. IT Engineer will provide support to service desks and operations team to resolve technical issues.

What You'll Be Working On-

* Maintains and upgrades core infrastructure technologies and systems to ensure that systems do not fail. Ensures the proper operation of core infrastructure via highly trained and skilled system administration, preventative maintenance and timely repairs
* Facilitates business improvement by mapping business processes to potential technical solutions and presenting them in a coherent and concise manner in order to gain support for leadership
* Provides direct customer support and daily operations, planning and analysis of our core infrastructure by completing all moves, additions and changes in accordance with our published service level agreements as well as monitoring and analyzing the environment utilizing available tools
* Maintains formalized documentation (policies, procedures, diagrams, engineering specifications) to ensure business continuity and smooth operations as well as preparing professional engagement documentation (statements of work, project plan cost benefit analysis, recommendations) with business partners of Dunkin' Brands
* Ensure processes and procedures are being followed for any changes to production environment
* Ensures the proper operation of the core infrastructure via highly trained and skilled system administration, preventative maintenance and timely repairs
* Participates in projects in accordance with best practices methodologies ensuring proper execution as a manager or individual contributor. Assumes lead responsibility for infrastructure initiatives providing leadership to junior members of the department
* Maintains formalized documentation to ensure business continuity and smooth operations as well as preparing professional engagement documentation with business partners of Dunkin' Brands
* Maintains productive relationships with IT colleagues and business

What You'll Need-

* Bachelor's degree with concentration in IT or business equivalent
* Minimum of 6 years' progressive, relevant IT experience
* Minimum of 5 years' experience designing/implementing/managing VMware ESX/vSphere and Virtual Center shared environments
* Minimum of 5 years' experience architecting/engineering/implementing large-scale Microsoft infrastructure solutions
* Minimum of 5 years' experience with Microsoft Windows Servers infrastructure including Active Directory management and implementation
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in various Unix platform (Solaris and Linux Operating systems)
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in Cisco UCS B/C class servers
* Other desired experience: Enterprise class storage solution (EMC VNX/VMAX or equivalent); SAN applications such as Data Replication, Snap Shots, and Storage virtualization technology; SAN Fabric management (Cisco 9506/9222i); Nexus 7Ks/5Ks (10Gb Converge Networking); architecting cloud hosted solutions in various cloud providers; HP Proliant servers and Blades technology; engineering and administering of F5 Load Balancers; architecting/engineering/implementing large-scale Citrix infrastructure solutions; and Oracle Unix, Linux distros
* Experience in project management of multiple projects, in both determining and building against business and technical requirements
