Senior Full Stack Web Developer

About the Team:

As a senior member of the web platform development team, you will be utilizing all your technical expertise across the stack, including cloud-based resilient services and APIs, front-end, automated testing and data modeling, to build and refine end-user experience.

You will help drive forward the architecture and implementation of the applications' features and are an outstanding communicator and collaborator. You are comfortable working to derive concrete solutions from often-ambiguous requirements and passionate about quality execution.

This role is an opportunity to build solutions from scratch that will enable internal customers to be successful and extend their offerings to external consumers. The results of that work will influence the experience of Capital One customers.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.


* 2 years of software engineering experience.


* 2 years of experience using JavaScript.


* 2 years of experience with Agile delivery practices.


* 2 years of experience using frameworks like Angular or React.



Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with data modeling.


* Experience working with browser plugins or extensions.


* Application architecture experience with scalable, cloud based systems building API's and fault tolerant architectures.


* Experience delivering software in the public cloud with AWS.


* Expertise in front-end structural and styling technologies, such as HTML or CSS.
