The Grocery Shopping Team, a new team within Alexa Voice Shopping, is radically changing the way customers shop for groceries both online and in stores! By leveraging the simplicity and intelligence of Alexa, we are creating innovative ways to make grocery shopping faster, easier, and fun for customers.

"Alexa, am I out of milk?" is just one example of Think Big ideas we are tackling today.

By merging the functionality of Alexa, voice-enabled interfaces with cutting-edge mobile experiences, we will make it easy for customers to do common grocery tasks like, locate items in stores, add items to their Whole Foods/Fresh cart, remind them they are running out of key ingredients, recommend grocery items, and more.

We are seeking talented and experienced leaders to design and develop ground-up, conversational and mobile shopping experiences and algorithms in Seattle. You'll have the freedom (and encouragement) to experiment, improve, invent, and innovate on behalf of our customers. You will have an impact on Amazon's new devices and the way shopping is done in the area of IoT. And finally you will have the satisfaction of being able to look back and say you were a key contributor to something special from its earliest stages.

What you will work on: You will be part of a team of talented and experienced engineers that will build full-stack experiences that span across mobile, web, and Alexa. We build for big scale and impact! You're front-engineering will get a chance to shine in the hands of millions of Amazon customers. You will be working closely with multiple product managers, designers, and engineers within your team and across Amazon.
