Role description and opportunities
Are you interested in building a best in class digital web experiences for a leading global financial services brand? Then our marketing development and integration team would be a great fit for you. As a member of the digital marketing team, you will collaborate with analytics, UX design and business partners to deliver visually exciting user interfaces, as well as create and optimize code to deliver compelling website experiences that drive results.
We need a senior developer well-versed in agile development practices to implement and maintain our digital campaign and web properties. This candidate will have great people skills and is adept at interfacing with a diverse array of teammates from different regions, cross-team partners and business stakeholders to create solutions that will drive impactful results.
We are looking for engineers who are passionate about bringing and implementing new ideas, are extremely proficient in writing clean end efficient code and enthusiastic problem solvers. Key responsibilities include the following
Build the capabilities and experience of a team of developers, lead with hands-on effort, sharing knowledge, and mentoring junior and offshore members
Architect the build of websites and implement, in a CMS platform, to allow content teams to edit and add pages
Drive the development of performant, high quality websites and digital campaigns with agile cycles of feature additions based on business objectives
Relentlessly drive optimization and enhancements in our websites and processes
Review and recommend adoption of relevant frameworks and technology to advance our capabilities
Establish and ensure industry standard development best practices are observed, including accessibility and privacy compliance
Manage vendor partners as part of development implementation efforts
Collaborate with analytics, demand generation, content, businesses and UX team members to deliver compelling website experiences personalized to our target prospect audiences
Gather requirements from business and team stakeholders and translate them into functional requirements
Contribute to, and maintain an internal library of reusable website and interactive components
Qualifications
A successful candidate should ideally have these qualifications
BS or Masters in Computer Science or a technical degree preferred
10+ years of professional experience building enterprise-responsive websites in an agency or corporate environments, consulting experiences a plus
Expert in vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, using preprocessor like Sass
Proficient in Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks
Proficient in using build tools like npm, Gulp, Webpack, Browserify
Proficient in version control using Git
Proficient in React & Redux or Angular frameworks with solid understanding of SPA core principles
Proficient in programming languages, Java and C#
Experience with Adobe AEM, Crownpeak CMS platforms, integrating personalization platforms like Adobe Target a plus
Experience with deploying script tags through a tag manager like Adobe Launch a plus
Demonstrate a history of understanding business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Possess an eagerness to share knowledge and collaborate with team members, as well as mentoring other members
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with a sense of urgency who can lead, but is flexible enough to follow as well
Must be very organized and have ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment
