GEICO, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, is a prominent digital company with some of the cutting-edge transformations in technology. In our journey to cloud computing, GEICO IT is seeking a highly motivated individual with a diverse financial background to implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Workday Financials. GEICO IT is also implementing a Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) system, Adaptive Insights, which will be on the Workday platform. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow your skills within Workday and contribute to the 2nd largest auto insurance carrier in the US.

Responsibilities:

* Be an expert in Workday Financials, Procurement, Inventory and Adaptive Insights
* Configure the Workday solution and demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototypes
* Develop and execute a plan for conversion of legacy financial data into Workday
* Configure integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Web Services
* Configure Business Processes to support Business requirements and specific use cases
* Develop Reports in Workday Report Designer, Prism Analytics for Data visualization and Dashboard reporting for analytics
* Develop Budget models, Workforce Planning and Capital Planning models with Adaptive Insights
* Build and execute test plans for Business Processes, Integrations, Models or Reports as needed

Experience:

* Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology (or relevant experience)
* 3+ years functional/implementation or consulting experience in Financial, Procurement or Inventory within a ERP solution such as Workday, SAP, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft, or NetSuite
* 3+ years functional/implementation or consulting experience in FP&A solutions such as IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics, Oracle Hyperion/EPM, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Host Analytics
* Experience in designing and the configuration of one or more Financials modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliation, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, or Financial Reporting
* Excellent Business analysis and requirements gathering skills
* Demonstrated project management experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Preferred experience defining system strategy, developing detailed systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, defining support procedures, data conversion and implementing business process improvements
* Preferred functional experience as an Accountant or CPA
