What does a great Senior ETL Informatica Developer do?

The Senior ETL Informatica Developer plays a role in the defining data mapping, creating ETL process, understanding source system and map data elements, test ETL process, provide documentation, triage production issues and provide resolutions. You will perform ETL solution design and development to produce required reporting, dashboarding, and analytics deliverables. You will work in an Agile environment on a talented business intelligence team, delivering software solutions utilized by internal and external customers. The candidate should have a real passion for development, as well as data analysis, and possess strong development skills in Business Intelligence & Analytics. As a software developer, you will be responsible for developing, unit testing, and integration tasks, while maintaining development and quality standards. This position will require close collaboration with delivery teams, product owners and managers, and the QA team. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and have an ability to learn new technologies. Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

* Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience; Master's degree preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing
* 3+ years of experience in Informatica ETL tool
* 3+ years of experience in RDBMS, Data modeling, writing complex SQL queries.
* 1+ years of experience in Netezza, SQL Server databases.
* 2+ years' experience working with Agile project delivery.
* Deep understanding of automated testing, test data generation
* Expert in source and target system analysis, mapping data elements from source to target, heavy data loads, tuning ETL processes for heavy data volume
* Ability to travel up to 5%

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

* Experience with high transaction volume processing systems
* Experience with Netezza, SQL Server & Oracle RDMS
* Experience with Business Object BI tool
* Experience with Solaris, Unix, Linux, and Windows OS
* Experience working in ServiceNow, Jira and VersionOne
* Experience with Agile Software Methodology
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
* Ability to work efficiently and productively without direction or guidance
