Job Description

NICE is a global software company providing enterprise solutions to Fortune 500 companies in the customer experience, financial, and public safety space. We are on a journey to transition many our traditional on-premise solutions to SAAS offerings running in data centers and AWS.

The DevOps team is hard at work on that transition and we need YOU to help along the way! They operate on a truly global, follow-the-sun model, with teammates based in India, US, UK, Slovakia, and Japan.

One of your key areas of focus will be to help build and manage a software-defined data center in AWS using Terraform and native APIs. You'll also be involved in taking our guest automation to the next level, using tools such as Puppet, Powershell, Ansible, and Perl.

Of course, some kick ass monitoring, alerting and tooling will be part of the gig so we can work smarter and more efficiently.

Ideally you'll have some experience with actual coding (Java, C#, Python, e.g.) in addition to 2+ years of dedicated AWS Infrastructure management and configuration.

Extra points if you've helped other companies migrate legacy, on-prem solutions to the cloud.

Finally, you should be a self-starter, someone who knows there's a ton of work to do and doesn't need to be told how or when to do it. Your team will appreciate it. It's also worth noting that we are a fairly large, complex and matrixed organization, so understanding our products and how we work will take some time. If you're curious and resourceful you'll do fine!
