The Automobile Club of Southern California is seeking career-minded individuals for our Sr. DevOps Engineer opportunity in Costa Mesa, CA.

The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for helping to create a world class CI/CD build pipeline in support of our development teams. We are building a small team dedicated to help our development teams create the systems that will support continuous delivery of valuable software to our members and coach and mentor teams on the latest technical development practices. This role will be a part of this small dedicated team building and maintain these critical systems.

Responsibilities 1) Develop and maintain a CI/CD build pipeline for the Auto Club spanning open systems (Linux, Windows platforms, Java, C# languages) as well as mainframe (Cobol). 2) Collaborate with the product teams as a partner. Mentor and provide guidance to team members as to what's possible with a fully automated build pipeline. 3) Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies to evaluate impact to business and member value. 4) Actively participate in Communities around DevOps, development practices and others.

Four-year college degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering is required a combination of education and significant work experience, is acceptable.

Experience * Expert level in managing DevOps tool chain such as: * Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, PCF). * Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices. * Infrastructure automation (such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible), Infrastructure as Code concepts and knowledge of container concepts (Docker) (preferred). * Monitoring and alerting tools (like NewRelic) (preferred). * Experience with planning tools such as Jira. * Experience with TFS/Git* Experience with deployment tools such as Jenkins* Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk.

Experience with tools for Unit Testing (Topaz Total Test, JUnit etc.) (preferred). * Experience with DevOps with mainframe code as part of the pipeline (preferred). * Experience with administering infrastructure components (servers, DB's etc.) required. * Experience with doing TFS Administration (preferred).
